Super Typhoon Rolly has claimed 22 lives, data from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) confirmed on Friday.
As recorded by NDRRMC, there were 165 injured individuals, and three others remain missing. The recorded casualties were from the Region of Bicol, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA.
Power interruptions are still encountered in a total of 128 cities and municipalities in Regions V, VIII, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA. Also, water supply in 85 cities and municipalities in Region V and MIMAROPA continues to be a problem.
Meanwhile, in Regions II, III, V, CALABARZON, and Cordillera Administrative Region, a number of 16 roads and six bridges are still impassable.
Damages
The damages to infrastructure reached P11,228,895,685.78 in Regions I, II, III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, V, VIII, CAR, and the National Capital Region, NDRRMC reported.
Moreover, a total of 53,747 houses were destroyed in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, and CAR.
As of the moment, a total of P52,945,868.20 worth of assistance has been extended to the victims of Rolly.
Super Typhoon Rolly also brought damage to crops, livestock, fisheries, and even agricultural facilities in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Regions V, and VIII and NCR worth P2,924,837,533.
