I am pro-choice; I believe abortion is a basic human right.

Abortion, up until today, is a controversial topic. People, women especially, are divided into two groups - mainly because of their different religious, moral, political, and practical beliefs - the pro-life and pro-choice.

Pro-life is a conviction wherein women should not have the option to have an abortion under any circumstance --- even if their pregnancy is a result of rape, unwanted, or may put their lives in danger.

The pro-life view believes that having an abortion removes an unborn child’s right to live.

On the other hand, pro-choice advocates the right of women to decide if, when, and with whom to start or grow a family.

Pro-choice believes and supports the reproductive rights of a woman which includes health care that caters to safe, legal, and affordable abortion.

Yes, I am pro-choice because I am pro-woman.

I believe that every woman in this world has the right to say no to something they are not ready for. I am pro-choice because I care for the mother’s welfare and the child after pregnancy.

I am pro-choice because I strongly stand with my ground that a woman's body is hers and only hers; whatever decision or choice she will make is none of our business.

If having an abortion is the best thing for her, let her be.

People do not have the right to judge a woman’s choice because they do not know what led her to that decision. People need to stop pushing their beliefs to another person because everyone does not have the same mindset and circumstance in life.

The bottom line here is to respect and have a clear understanding that being pro-choice is not murder. Denying and refusing to give an option is.
