Miss Bohol Pauline Amelincks bagged 4 special awards during the preliminary competition of Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) 2020 held at Baguio Country Club on Friday evening, October 23.
Amelincks stunned the judges after she ignited the stage with her exceptional beauty and charisma, securing her spot in the competition after earning the Most Beautiful Face Award, Miss Creamsilk, Miss Downy Sweetheart, and Miss Cetaphil Sun awards.
Aside from Miss Bohol, Quezon City representative won Miss MG Philippines, Miss Mandaue for Best in National Custome, Miss Cebu City as Miss Photogenic, Miss Ilo-Ilo City and Miss Parañaque were awarded as Best in Swimsuit and Best in Evening Gown, respectively.
With more than 40 women competing for the MUP 2020 crown, only one will represent the country in the Miss Universe 2020 pageant.
The MUP organization had officially announced that Binibining Pilipinas Miss Universe 2019 Gazini Ganados will still pass her crown despite the new franchise of the organization as an independent pageant.
Coronation night will be on October 25, Sunday, and will be televised on GMA network at 9:00 in the morning and will be viewed live online at www.empire.ph.
