Malaysian black bugs infest Naval, Biliran

Residents of Naval, Biliran are facing trouble due to the infestation of Malaysian black bugs, according to a report by Unang Balita on Monday.

According to authorities, the bugs have been causing discomfort for several days now and have caused the streets to darken as the pests cover the street lights.

Residents said that the insects produce an unpleasant smell when burned. Aside from that, the bugs also enter houses with open lights.

It is said that Malaysian black bugs are also a problem in rice production; fortunately, the crops are already harvested.
