Effective October 16, 2020, persons aged 15-65 are now allowed to go out per the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) release of Resolution No. 79 last October 15, 2020.
According to the issued resolution, those people aged 15-65 are permitted to leave their respective houses to buy essential goods and for emergency purposes.
Pregnant women, persons with weak immune system, those with chronic diseases and other health risks are required and encouraged to stay at home except those who work in industries or offices and obtaining essential goods and services.
The IATF also forbids the aforementioned people to go to malls and shopping centers as they are still in limited operations and continue to prohibit the operation of leisure establishments.
In the past months, strict age limitations were implemented in the country: people aged 21-59 were the only ones authorized to leave their residences to report for work or buying necessities.
IATF also emphasized that though the age limit for home restrictions was eased, people should not disregard the mandatory health protocols imposed in the nation.
