Cebu City updates new regulations for industry operations

Together with the Department of Trade Industry (DTI), Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella announced new amendments and guidelines after the city's status shift back to Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) last September 30, 2020.

Labella signed Executive Orders 099 and 100 this morning, October 9, 2020, which stated that the operation of dine-in restaurants goes up to 75 percent capacity.

To stay in line with the longer operating hours of malls, Labella also said that curfew implementation starts from 11:00 PM until 5:00 AM last October 1.

Malls and food establishments are still in limited operations and will continue to prohibit retailing alcoholic drinks.

To ensure that students, teachers, and people who are working from home will be given great consideration, Labella prohibited the operations of video karaoke machines in Cebu City from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during weekdays.
